MAROC District Event - Glen Feardar



Glen Feardar, near Braemar, was too hot for me today and I retired at 15. The views to the nearby Cairngorms however, more than made up for my disappointing run!

FVO Evening Event - Minewoods and Bridge of Allan





I organised tonights evening event at Minewoods which had 3 courses and attracted ca 50 runners. The long course saw close competition with Jason Inman recording the fastest time of 34:55.

Scottish Individual Championships - Balavil and Dunachtonmore

Balavil and Dunachtonmore is fantastically varied, with some pine forest, open birch woods and semi-open areas. I ran M50L which was 8.0k with 275m of climb and 20 controls.

Scottish Relay Championships - Strathmashie

Strathmashie is rough and tough, but the courses, planned by Eddie Harwood, made good use of the area and provided some great competition. I ran first leg in the Handicap Relay which was 5.8k with 16 controls.

MAROC Local Event - Corsedardar



Corsedardar is a varied area, with runnable pine forest in the western part and birch woods/open hillside in the east. I ran the Brown (longest) course which was 8.0k with 320m of climb and 14 controls, and which was won by Jon Musgrave.
