This South of Scotland Orienteering League (SoSOL) event was organised by St Andrews Orienteeering Club, Glasgow (STAG) and took place at Drumpellier Country Park - an area of mature runnable woodland and open land, with a good network of paths and much nicer than I anticipated it would be! I ran the Brown course which made good use of the area and which was 9.5k with 90m of climb and 25 controls. The course gave close racing, with former World Championship runner and FVO team-mate, Steve Nicholson, winning in 58:14 and 4 other runners within 45 seconds.
