It was good to return to Achlean - even though it was only a week since last running there! I ran the brown (longest) course which was 8.6k with 21 controls. I had a clean run and took 67 minutes, finishing third. Ben Hartman took 65 minutes and Mark Nixon took an incredible 53 minutes!

Good effort Martin. I did 81 mins. Made loads of mistakes especially on 12 which took me 3 passes to get it! Great area though, and really enjoyed it.
12 was tricky! I went past the ride end and then followed bearings to the clearing, and and from there to the marsh/control. Ken Daly lost a lot of time on 12 too!
Yeah, just didn’t have the sense to look behind the couple of wind-blow trees that 12 was behind. Regardless, I made lots of small errors – need to practice lots more on that stuff.
