Missed the JK in the Forest of Dean to go on a family ski holiday in France. Stayed in an apartment in Villaroger, near Bourg St Maurice and skied at Les Arcs on 3 days, Sainte Foy on 2 days, La Rosiere and La Thuile for a day, and Tignes and Val d'Isere for another day. The weather was fantastic - clear and sunny; which meant hard, icy conditions first thing, slush at the end of the day and really nice conditions in between. Snow cover was fantastic high up and provided considerable scope for exploring off piste.
Managed easy paced, short, hilly runs most evenings on paths through woods and meadows which resulted in a varied, but tiring, holiday.
