The long journey was worth it as the Lake Ditrict was fantastic today - clear, sunny and warm! So too, was Harrop Tarn - an area I have run in once or twice before, but not in the last decade; or possibly two!
I ran M50L which was 6.2k with 260m of climb and 18 controls, and which took me 47 minutes. I had a good run, apart from losing a couple of minutes going to the penultimate control.
