Roger Goddard planned tonights course which was both physical and technical. The Long course was 5.9k with 18 controls and was won by Tom Ryan, with Will Hensman second.
There was a bit of snow on Dumyat last night, but not enough to impede progress. Haven't been out to Trossachs area recently, but Ben Ledi (near Callander) still has reasonable snow cover. The forecast is for the weather to get a bit warmer, so I'm guessing snow won't be a problem at the Trossachs event, unless of course , there's another fall!
Hi Rusky, Greetings to you and Mary - hope you are both well! I see you're going back to Slovenia this summer. Hazel and I are too, so look forward to catching up with you both then!
I am an enthusiastic orienteer who runs for Forth Valley Orienteers in Scotland. I began orienteering nearly 40 years ago when at school in Cheshire and currently compete in the M55 age class.
This site is a record of my orienteering exploits, with occasional forays into my other hobbies of telemark skiing and watching wildlife.
