This was the first time, to my knowledge, this area has been used for orienteering and the imaginative mix of urban and woodland terrain tested a range of technical skills. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't up to the challenge, and made a number of navigational errors - some on legs that were relatively straight forward!
I ran the Green (longest) course which was 5.1k with 13 controls and was disqualified for going to the wrong control at number 11 - the fence at the north edge of the circle instead of the reentrant!
